SEO Inc. Joins the W3C as a Leader in Internet Marketing, Joins Member Groups

We at SEO Inc. are pleased to announce that we are now a World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) member! The W3C is committed to developing standard practices across the web, and we are beyond excited to share that grand task with them.

And as if becoming a W3C member wasn’t enough, we’re equally pleased to announce that our CEO, Garry Grant, will join several high-profile groups with other W3C members. Together, these groups will work toward building a better Internet for all online users.

Joining the W3C marks the next step in the quality work we do here at SEO Inc. and aligns with how we deliver our SEO services to our clients. Today we’d like to share what this means for us.

W3C

What It Means to Be a Member of the W3C

The W3C works tirelessly to develop standards and guidelines across the web. With so many different versions of software and tools out there, the W3C’s goal is to standardize these to make a better user experience. They’re creating a more unified online space for users, businesses – the whole world. To give you an idea of who currently upholds these standards, other members of the W3C include:

  • Apple, Inc.
  • AT&T
  • Cannon, Inc.
  • Cisco
  • Dell Inc.
  • eBay
  • Facebook
  • Google, Inc.
  • LG Electronics
  • Library of Congress
  • Netflix Inc.
  • Sony Corporation
  • Yahoo!, Inc.

As a member of the W3C and a leading SEO company, we, of course, are honored to share a member space with these other organizations. However, we’re eager to make our mark as a member, so we’d like to share some of what we’ll be doing as a W3C member.

Moving Forward as a W3C Member

SEO Inc. will be making a significant impact in moving forward with the W3C’s goals through the member groups that our CEO, Garry Grant, will be a part of. He has created the W3C’s Digital Marketing, Web Security, and Accessibility groups. These will discuss and develop cutting-edge standardized practices to best serve their core audiences, including websites available to audiences all across the globe. He will be joining other W3C members, including representatives for Facebook and Google, as well as top-level executives from Adobe Systems.

As a leading internet marketing agency in the world of SEO, PPC, and web development, we at SEO Inc. think this is a tremendous opportunity for us. In fact, due to our complete support and execution of SEO best practices, our and the W3C’s goals seemed like a perfect fit from the start. Meeting W3C compliance is something we have always taken very seriously. As it turns out, our particular brand of website and SEO services align with their goals to build a better online tomorrow, and we will continue to implement these practices in every aspect of our business.

Whether through utilizing compatible versions of HTML or enforcing the use of XML schema markup, we’re prepared to do our part to make a real impact on the online space. Joining the W3C is a fantastic opportunity for us, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
