Internet Marketing Tips, Suggestions, & Ramblings

Search Engine Adventures: Ranksgiving 2: Rank Harder

Oops. Looks like Google went a bit overboard on the keywords this year. But hey—we believe even Google should indulge himself from time to time. It’s only one day a year, right?

Happy Ranksgiving, everyone!

Our search engine friends sure have a lot to be thankful for. The internet marketing industry rules the online world, and Google, Yahoo!, and Bing has everyone playing by their rules. Not that that’s a bad thing—we like quality websites and great content, too.

But as with many holiday celebrations, we work so hard trying to please Google & Co. that we often lose sight of what really matters: readable content, killer web design, and a healthy backlink profile. Luckily for us, these things matter all year ‘round. And that’s something we can all be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving!
