Search Engine Adventures: Happy Ranksgiving!

Regarding Google’s question, I guess we were expecting the usual? Is that so much to ask? Then again, this is Ranksgiving. (Didja see what we did there?) Sometimes the search engines work in mysterious ways.

Look at it from Google’s point of view: the turkey has been the quintessential main course of every Thanksgiving since, like, forever. So maybe Google just sees it as “duplicate content,” and has sent Penguin in to tell us our holidays are in serious need of a better content strategy.

Honestly, we’re surprised Penguin’s playing along; you’d think he’s worked hard enough this fall season.
