Meet Chantal, Our Director of SEO
Chantal has been with SEO Inc., now, for going on 12 years and has proven herself to be of the most vital members of the company. Her years of SEO experience, combined with a vast knowledge of the digital landscape sets her up as one of the “go-to” people that we all need in our lives. Professionally, she is hard-working, smart as heck, and knows how to get the job done right the first time. We’re all basically in her office all day asking what we should do. And it doesn’t seem to bother her one bit. Chantal is also one of the most easy-going and personable people in the SEO Inc. office. From always being one to crack somewhat off-color jokes that make us laugh to willing to listen when any one of us here at the agency needs a closed-door sit down, Chantal can run the gamut. Your background/history with Internet Marketing/SEO/Etc…
I have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Science, and I fell into Internet marketing via Garry Grant some years back. SEO Inc. was actually my first interview after graduating. I remember driving up to [Garry’s] house, checking the address over and over and thinking, “Is this a trap? Am I going to get thrown into a van and hauled across the border to be sold as a slave?” (Editor’s note: Haven’t we all felt like this prior to a job interview at least once or twice?)
Once in the interview, Garry found out I was Italian and felt compelled to call my father and ask if I could work here. Needless to say, my dad agreed (reluctantly).
What do you bring to the table at SEO Inc.?
Well, I have been with the agency two times in my career, thus far. The first time was after the above interview, and I was more or less learning the ropes.
The second time, I came with individual growth and knowledge from working directly for some of SEO Inc’s top competitors, including the fourth largest agency network in the world Wpp Group (JWT).
We all should be as proud as you to have accomplished…
Saving my cat from an almost fully engulfed house fire. (It was my house, and it burnt to the ground).
Besides being online, you enjoy…
Spending time with my family (fiancé Paul, and sons Forrest and Ryan), going to my family home in San Felipe, cooking, eating and working on baby #3 (fingers crossed it is a girl this time).

I was born and raised in San Diego, California. Ramona, actually. Is that really even considered San Diego 😉 (Editor’s note: Sure. Why not?)
I currently live in Valley Center, and unincorporated city where we freely shoot automatic weapons and off road where ever we please.
Interesting fact:
I moved to Playas Del Coco, Costa Rica right out of high school.
What are you most looking forward at this company moving forward?
I am most looking forward to finishing what I helped Garry start almost 12 years ago 😉 Let’s go IPO!
