JCPenney Opens First COMPLETE Store within Facebook

Share

JCPenney has pushed not just some products, but its ENTIRE catalog to Facebook. Now shoppers can purchase any of the 250,000 items that the store sells online, without ever leaving the Facebook page. In addition to the “shop” tab that allows customers to place items in a shopping bag as they would on any other retail website, the JCPenney Facebook page also includes a “share” button where fans can re-post their favorite items. JCPenney expects more sales will take place as a result of shoppers seeing items listed in their friends’ news feeds.
