    Yahoo! to Join Online Community Unconference

    Alexandria, Virginia - SEO Inc - PPC Management - May 21, 2007 - Search engine, Yahoo!, is among many companies slated to participate in a new event for online community practitioners, including managers, developers, business people, tool providers, investors, being planned to discuss experience and strategies in the development and growth of online communities.

    Designed for those involved in online community development (and social software in general), the Online Community Unconference is for those entities that share many common challenges: community management, tools, marketing, business models, legal issues. The best source of information on all of these challenges is other knowledgeable practitioners.

    The Unconference, scheduled for June 6, will be held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. The Online Community Unconference is inspired by the emerging ''open space'' conference format, where attendees set the agenda and all are encouraged to present their ideas. There will be plenty of breakout space and be dedicated time for networking.
