TheFind.com, Debuts E-Commerce Tool
Mountain View, California - March 14, 2007 - An e-commerce tool, designed to find similar items, has been launched by search engine, TheFind, Inc., to facilitate and personalize the task of searching for products.
The "Find Similar Items" feature is designed to help shoppers quickly sift through the more than 500,000 stores and 150 million products indexed by TheFind.com. For example, the search term "women's pumps" returns over 77,000 women's pumps. Using the new feature, a shopper in the market for "platform peep-toe pumps" simply clicks on the "Find Similar Items" button next to a favored search result, and TheFind.com returns just over 6,000 similarly-styled shoes. The corresponding lists of top brands and top styles also adjust accordingly. "Find Similar Items" gives shoppers the ability to quickly refine their search results and enjoy the discovery process of shopping for lifestyle goods such as home and garden, apparel, accessories, and children's products.
