    New York, New York - ( SEO Inc - Search Engine Marketing ) - October 4, 2006 - Shopping search engine and buying guide, ShopWiki, has chosen former President of DoubleClick Global Media, Barry Salzman, to become the company's first Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Salzman will be charged with the expansion of ShopWiki's infrastructure and international presence.

    Kevin P. Ryan, CEO of ShopWiki commented, ''I'm thrilled to be working with Barry again," said "As a proven global manager with vast experience, he is the perfect executive to lead ShopWiki into the international marketplace.''

    ShopWiki, which launched in the United States in April, plans to launch in an additional five countries by the end of this year. Mr. Salzman brings more than 20 years of leadership and business experience, including five years as President of DoubleClick's international operations.

    Mr. Salzman served at DoubleClick from 1997 to 2002, first as President of DoubleClick International, then as President of DoubleClick Global Media. He developed and implemented the company's international start-up strategy, launching both media and technology enterprises outside of the United States. With a team of more than 900 employees across 24 countries (including the United States), he grew revenues to upwards of $400 million. Mr. Salzman's prior work experience also included positions with AEA Investors, Inc., McKinsey Company and Salomon Brothers, Inc. Mr. Salzman spent the last two years in Australia, pursuing his passion for photography on a full-time basis. His work has appeared in publications including Vanity Fair, Vogue Entertaining + Travel, Harper's Bazaar, Ad News, Australian Geographic and The Sydney Morning Herald.

    Mr. Salzman continued, ''ShopWiki attracted me first and foremost because it is a great idea with enormous potential, both domestically and abroad.     Mr. Salzman received a Bachelor of Business Science with a Distinction in Marketing from the University of Cape Town and an M.B.A from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

    ShopWiki was developed to provide a complete shopping search engine, combining breakthrough search and web crawling technologies with consumer-driven wiki technology to help shoppers make the most informed buying decisions. Established in 2005 by Eliot Horowitz, former DoubleClick CEO Kevin Ryan and DoubleClick Co-founder and former CTO Dwight Merriman, ShopWiki actively crawls the Internet to find and index products from more than 120,000 retail stores, the widest selection on the Web, and features more than 1,300 buying guides written and edited by users. The site does not accept data feeds or charge for inclusion and is privately held and based in New York.
