Calgary, Canada - January 4, 2007 - During November, 2006, search engine Google websites, along with Microsoft and France Telecom, continue to be the most visited webites by the French, according to digital age measurement service, comScore Networks.
The Mozilla Organization represented the top-gaining web property in France with a 65-percent gain to 2.5 million visitors. This increase was driven largely by the launch of Mozilla's new Firefox browser, launched at the end of October. Dailymotion.com, which was the fifth-biggest gainer in October, became the second-biggest gainer in November, increasing 31 percent to 4 million visitors. Commentcamarche.net, a source for technical answers, appeared in the Top 10 Gainers list for the second month running, growing 27 percent to 2.4 million visitors in November.
Based on data collected through its comScore World Metrix audience ratings service, the notable findings showed that Google, Microsoft and France Telecom retained their rankings as the top three properties among French Internet users, with 16.4, 15.5 and 13.6 million French visitors, respectively.
