    New York, New York - May 30, 2007 - Exalead, a vertical search engine, has added an image search application, developed to allow for the ability to easily narrow down image results in its one:search Platform, designed as a resource for over one billion images, to target content.

    The ability to easily and quickly find relevant images is critical no matter where you're searching - on the web or inside the firewall. Exalead's patented Search By Serendipity navigation technology lets users quickly narrow or broaden a search by clicking on an automatically generated list of related terms or by choosing to search within results by a more specific keyword.

Image search functions include:

    -- Image size: Filter images by small, medium or large to find the right image quickly -- Wallpaper: Sort results by an image's resolution -- Image Color: Narrow down search results to only black and white images, or those in color -- Image Type: Embedded facial recognition software lets users easily find headshots of their friends or favorite celebrities -- File Type: Filter images by format (JPEG, GIF or PNG).
